Dr. Olivia Hsu Friedman, along with several colleagues, recently published an important article in the British Journal of Dermatology that sets key diagnostic criteria for determining if a patient has topical steroid withdrawal (TSW). “Western medicine currently has no diagnostic criteria for TSW,” says Dr. Olivia. “We are establishing a critical body of research literature that will help TSW patients get the diagnosis and care they need moving forward.”
