Dr. Olivia Hsu Friedman speaks with Michael Max of Qiological about how the skin is a mirror of the body and the importance of seeing a patient’s condition as both a snapshot and a movie. She will discuss eczema and asthma as two sides of a coin as well as the strengths and weaknesses of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) as compared to pharmaceuticals, biologics, and steroids. Olivia will also introduce other aspects of skin conditions such as self-blame of patients and psycho-emotive considerations in chronic illness.
